Indigo Turtles Project

Mavi is proud to celebrate our 11th year helping to protect endangered sea turtles by supporting the Indigo Turtles Project and the Ecological Research Society (EKAD) by designing an exclusive t-shirt and hat to help support the efforts of EKAD.

Each year almost 50% of hatchling sea turtles make it to the sea. Only 2-3 per 1,000 turtles survive.

In 2023 alone, more than 80 thousand hatchlings reached the sea.

The number of nests in the area where the protection efforts started rose from 350 to 2,350 today.

EKAD has helped more than 1.3 million turtles make it to the sea.

The Indigo Turtles Project was launched in 2014 and saves nearly 15,000 hatchlings every year.
