It isn't not too dark, not too faded, just right. Fits slim through the hip and thigh without feeling tight, and the stretch in the fabric makes it comfortable all day. Not shiny, just has more dimension than a flat dark jean. The slim fit through the hip and thigh is consistent and clean. Had them a month now and the shape hasn't changed after multiple washes which is always the real test."
